PULAU PRAMUKA
Pulau Pramuka (Pramuka Island) is a perfect getaway for Jakartans. And what I meant by getaway to Pulau Pramuka is not talking about a single island. This post is talking about my trip to Pramuka and other islands near that area, such as Pulau Kotok, Pulau Air, Pasir Bulan, Pulau Pasir, Nusa Keramba, and Semak Daun. A wooden boat makes this trip even more exciting. If you love to fish, this is so far the nearest getaway you could find. Since I dont fish, I only catch small fishes that my tools could reach. Well, that's not even mine, lol. If you noticed those big fishes, that's what the pros are catching. Fresh from the oven, baby.
Pulau Pramuka
It is so close to the chaotic Jakarta yet has a huge different kind of life. So calming and insanely beautiful. Pulau Pramuka was not the only island that I explore, but it was the one we spent the night at. It is one of the most live-able one in that area. A lot of stays and villas are rented on this island. There are also a lot of warung (traditional cafe in Indonesia) in Pulau Pramuka; so foods and beverages are pretty much under control.
Pulau Pramuka does not have a good spot for snorkling, but they said it has an amazing diving spot. It also has other attraction such as turtle breeding.

Pulau Kotok
So far, Pulau Kotok (Kotok Island) is one of the best snorkling spot I've ever been. Make sure you go to this area in a sunny day, so you'll be able to capture the beauty of Indonesian corals.
Pulau Air
Nothing much to do in this area, except taking awesome photos; since this area is the bluest one. Be careful of its beauty though, there's a lot of monitor lizards here.
Pulau Pasir
This island is just a small resting area. A really beautiful one too. You could find hundreds of starfishes here. I'm not even kidding. Me and my friends collected 20ish starfishes.
Nusa Keramba
Nusa Keramba is a restaurant on an island. I have no idea if that island have any other name, but when we arrived, the restaurant is right infront of us. Great food and great little space. There's also sharks breeding here on this area.
Pasir Bulan
This one was new for me. Pasir Bulan (Moon Sand) is a really small island that could be seen when the tide is low. From these snaps below, you could clearly understand why this area called so.

Lucky for me, I ended that day with the best sunset experience in my life!
